16th Birthday Party Venues Melbourne?

Hey,
I am looking to hold a 16th party next month. I live in Melbourne and would probably have around 50 guests. Lots of places wont hold my party due to the fact its underage and most places have alcohol on the premises. (licensing laws are strict) I know that i could have it at a church/ community hall but I would like somewhere with a nicer feel like a hotel function room or something.
I live near the city. Does anyone know any venues that would be suitable for my party?

I know this is a problem. My friend solved it by using a cafe that had a separate function room. It is a matter of finding ones you like the look of and asking them. Good luck.
